Ohio Department of HealthProject: BASE-10 Content Management Software Challenge: The Ohio Department of Health was looking for a way to manage their primary Web Presence along with multiple satellite sites for State of Ohio initiatives and programs. The challenge was to implement a content management system that was robust enough to effectively handle their volumes of content yet user-friendly enough to allow Ohio Department of Health non-technical staff manage content. Being a government agency, security and workflow were critical components of this project. The Process: The Ohio Department of Health conducted an exhausted search for the perfect "off the shelf" Content Management Systems. After reviewing several solutions they decided to use our recommended solution: BASE-10. BASE-10 addressed all the requirements for security, scalability, ease of use and workflow processes, while being reasonably priced. BASE-10 is developed in the Microsoft .Net framework and is fully supported by a team of seasoned developers. Other aspects of the system, including document and asset management were utilized to accomplish the daunting task of providing vast amounts of health statistics and information to the public.
